As I'm sitting here going thru emails and posting on this forum....my house phone started to ring. I was slow to answer it because we have caller ID and it verbalizes who is calling. I could hear it saying that "Blah Nelson" is calling. It's a garbled voice but I could definitely make out the Nelson name. So, I'm thinking.....ok....it's the inlaws calling....I'll let the hub pick it up.
But he didn't pick it up as he had just gone outside to open up the hot-tub.
So.....the phone continues ringing and on the fourth ring it goes to MESSAGE.
By now, I am at the phone and I pick it up and expect to hear my mother-in-laws voice on the other end as the message machine will click off when someone picks up the phone. But there is no one there.
So, I hang up the phone in the kitchen and walk into the study where we have the message/caller ID machine set up and get this.....................
It says that WE just called our own phone! FROM OUR OWN PHONE!
The caller ID listed our name and our own phone number as having just called us!
Now, how weird is that????
