dark characters...right, that's truly a big challenge for actors, but I think Nic will act well and make them meaningful than just "dark"!!He can get out of them easily, because just as you say, he's a great actor!!
I'm with you OnlyNic........I'd love to see Nic do some lighter fair.....a true comedy would be just the ticket for me. It seems he's been doing alot of 'darker' roles lately and ..... just a guess here....but I would think that immersing oneself into 'dark' material over and over again would be hard on the psyche.
Then again.......great actors like Nic......well....they must have their own 'tricks of the trade' on how they get into and out of character

There will be National Treasure 3, and I heard Ghost Rider is going to have sequels too(I wonder if it's true). No matter what, it's great to see Nic's works can have sequels, for that means they're popular. However, I hope he can make more inspiring movies, such as The Family Man or The Weather Man instead of starring in the sequels of blockbusters. After all, being willing to try different characters is what makes him special!!
