These two bits tell us something about Nic's political leanings (obviously Democratic).
I do remember reading in an interview of his a long time ago, that he doesn't think an entertainer should go about spouting off on politics because it's not their job. I tend to agree with him on that. Entertainers have so much pull with the masses simply because people tend to believe anything they have to say....

May I apologize in advance for tainting this forum with politics? Now that I've done my best to act reproachful, it's time to ask which candidate NC would like to become our next president. Does anyone know? Recently I read something on AOL outlining the choices for about 25 different celebrities, but Nicolas was not included. Does anyone know if he's registered to vote as a democrat, republican, or independent? Which candidate is he backing for the upcoming election? Who has he supported politically in the past? What are his stances on some of the major issues like the economy, health care, and Social Security reform? I'm interested in knowing where Nic stands, although even if his opinions are extremely different from mine politically, I will respect his beliefs and still admire him - unless he's a Nazi or a revisionist of course!
