I wish you will be able to contact him in a way...but with all the security around him it sound that is very hard to even talk to him ...where is the good Ol'friendly Nic ?????
Even if he did not remember you personally, he may recall the times and being there. Maybe if it was actually him, that it would bring back good old memories to him.
I did some more research and found out that August Coppola, Nic's father, was dean of creative arts at SF state when I was there. he and Nic moved to SF in 1976 and Nic studied theater and music there so it makes sense that the guy I hung out with was Nicholas Coppola! We had some fun but I doubt he'd remember me.
He might have. I read that when he was 15 he went to his uncle's in San Francisco and he studied acting. He studied at a different school not the University, but maybe he possibly could have gone there to visit it or hang out, that is possible if it was in 1979. He was 15 in 1979.
cage would only have been about 16 or 17 years old at the time. (he seemed quite a bit younger than the rest of us theatre types. I read where he attended ACT which was in SF, but I doubt he was actually enrolled at SF State. Maybe he was hanging out there because uncle Francis lived near by. I've always wanted to send a letter to Cage but don't know how.
I briefly hung out at San Francisco State with a guy named "Nick" who said he was related to Copola. he had a shaggy mop of hair and a twisted sense of humor. How can I find out if this was Nicolas Cage?
