Book for Movie Idea

I noticed that his first name is the same as a novelist who writes sort of "actiony" books and that is Nicolas Sparks, some of this stuff probably has already been scripted for movies. Also, I mentioned in another post lots of stuff written by Joyce Carol Oats [a favorite of mine] would translate into a movie well. A librarian suggested her books to me and noted that Oats writes about the family in closeup, the seemingly ordinary person or people who eventually reveal to us their flaws. I was struck by the heritage angle, as my familiy is part German and Italian as well. I think my mother goes through depressions as well - she's the German. I don't see too much in the Celtic angle but one never knows, if you watched Braveheart - [different actor] it looks very difficult to produce .

I am basically impressed by the sheer volume of his productions so far.

Hi.

I heard you search for ideas to keep a freshness to productions and projects.

I have a book called "The Celts/The People who Came out of the Darkness" by Cerhard Herm., New York Copyright 1975
English translation 1976 by Weidenfeld and Nicolson Ltd.

All rights reserved. For information, write:
St. Martin's Press, Inc.
175 Fifth Avenue
New York, NY 10010

Printed in the United States of America

Library of Congress Catalog Card Number 76-28037
            ISBN 312-12705-7
First published in the United States of America in 1977

It is interesting because there are remarkable similarities between cultures. The last chapter in the book is "The Celtic Court of King Arthur", which interested me in memory of the hours I spent with my childhood heroes.
